EUROPEAN STRATEGY FORUM ON RESERCH INFRASTRUCTURES (ESFRI)
Forum created in 2002 with the mandate to support a strategic approach to policy making on research infrastructures in Europe and to promote multilateral initiatives helping development and better use of research infrastructures. It is an informal body acting on issues raised by country delegations. The ESFRI Roadmap is an ongoing process, identifying new Research Infrastructure (RI) of European interest, corresponding to the long term needs of the European research communities, involving all scientific areas. A set of guidelines, reviewed every 2 years, ensures the effectiveness of the ESFRI activity.
